Ok. How about some James Taylor this time. Except I’ll change a few words.

"In my mind I’m forgetting Carolina”

We all should in some respects.

Objectively speaking, this wasn’t a game the Fighting Irish were expected to win. Before the season began, it was one of three games I thought they’d have a hard time. I figured they’d be a bit over confident. Perhaps they were.

For fun today, I watched the 1966 game against Michigan State. I have that box set of some classic Notre Dame games. I had never really seen it in game sequence. It was also only the second half. But it had to be the most physical football I have ever seen!

I was surprised at the passing game ND put in place. You wouldn’t expect the first team in the nation, as ND was (if not they were #2) to be risky

You are a talented team, but you do some things that drive the fanbase crazy.

Jimmy Clausen, you have the best ball placement and accuracy I have seen from a Notre Dame quarterback (I have only been following ND football since about 1993). I can't imagine how much better you would be if you didn't telegraph nearly every ball you throw. Can you please, occasionally pump fake, or look off a receiver?

Armando Allen you are...

Movies are a good subject for the off-season. With the criticism that has come from the inept running performance of Charlie Weis’ “pound it” offense, two scenes from two great movies came to mind. But first, lets start with a bit of background.

We love blaming B&G Illustrated over here. Now is as good a time as any. An article was written about how Weis mentioned needing to prepare for the opponent you...
