Been following Notre Dame football online for a looong time

I have been following the Notre Dame Football team online for a long time and I can't remember things ever being this quiet.
QB controversy? Nope
RB controversy? Nope
OL? Pretty much set.
WR? Yep we know them too.
TE? Check. Got two with experience.
DL? We know what we have and who will play.
LB? Yep. A great group coming back with a young buck who might break the starting lineup. (by the way probably about the only thing that has been talked about)
DBs? Strong as ever with the entire backfield being filled with starters or guys with a lot of playing time from last year.
P?
K? We have like eleventy of them so we should be covered.
Coaching controversies? We hope that we took care of that at the end of last season.
Schedule? Cupcake by Notre Dame standards.
Expectations? No Notre Dame fan that I know wants to be outwardly optimistic after being kicked in the gut by their expectations the last fifteen years or so.
So what is to talk about? That wasn't a rhetorical question I am looking for feedback here.
All and all, I think this has all the makings for a great year for Notre Dame fans. If it isn't then I would expect all heck to break lose on the boards. Regardless of which way things end up; this is the calm before the storm. Storms can be good right?

Well, until the season gets started, the only controversy seems to be about the message boards themselves, since the other POS (as Jem so lovingly refers to it) seems to have lost several key staff members and posters due to new ownership.
In the meantime, I would like to propose a few daunting questions to the ladies (men are certainly entitled to answer) of BGN concerning our non-controversial team:
Which QB has the best hair? Hope Clausen stopped using that hideous hair product.
Which running back looks the best in a Speedo? Curious minds want to know. And is it true about...you know.
Which OLman has the best butt? I always wondered since the QB always has his hands under center.
Which assistant coach is the cutest?
Just a little trivia contest to pass the time.Posted 08-02-2009 at 12:40 AM by bettyann
